For the construction style, Korean traditional building features are applied, under which the Main theater is arranged as the main premise while Medium and Small theaters are arranged as detached houses. Using no walls and gates, easy access is tried. Traditional beauty is emphasized in the structure, showing the spirit for progress. Cultural Plaza (street) constructed in the road in front of Busan Cultural Center in 1998 was completed in 2000, providing outdoor cinema and other cultural events for Nam-gu district citizens.
